Artist, Illustrator & Teacher
interests grounded in themes of people, interaction, expression, and communication
David Jones
My most recent project was done as a collaborative effort between myself and the 6 other members of UAL Camberwells Poetry club. "To mark the centenary of Armistice Day and the end of the First World War, Camberwell College of Arts, UAL, will present a major project that explores the life and themes of the artist, illustrator and poet David Jones." We used the book In parenthesis and each took a single chapter to illustrate. Mine being chapter 4, a profound view and elaborative explanation into his questions of war and who creates it. I used the woman he speaks of in this chapter (just as he did) to explain the realities of war and the people who are left devastated by the deaths and loss.
