The project "Triggered" was a concept I arrived at  through a multitude of factors. The themes explored were "Personal healing", a philosophical journey into understanding what "therapy" really is and a satirical view of the "media". It was fabricated through a years worth of research from 2017 to 2018. The research  for this project was done mostly through first hand workshops that I held. I wanted my final piece to look like a newspaper but to read like a personal journal. Using the idea of "attention seeking" to explore what really is "news worthy".
The newspaper itself was made through one single mono printing session that took 1 hour to complete. It contains images that were produced by participants of the workshops which I replicated.  In turn I then created an image in response to each painting. making the information portrayed into a visual conversation.
